Black Diamond Video, U.S. manufacturer of professional video equipment and software, recently announced the release of a DVI solution capable of distributing a high -quality DVI (digital visual interface) 1080p signals up to 200 feet over true copper cables. `Black Diamond Video's DVI X -Treme is the latest addition to our line of high resolution video products," stated Ted Hoppe, Black Diamond Video's Sales and Marketing VP. `DVI is the right choice for true high -quality digital video. DVI is now the preferred method of high -resolution digital video distribution in the professional marketplace and home theater. Now that the distance limitations have been removed, DVI will ascend to its rightful place as the backbone of the new digital video systems and architectures.` The supported DVI cable lengths come in 30, 40, 50 and 60 -meter sections. It should be noted that the DVI X -Treme product line is just one supporting product in Black Diamond Video's cable and routing architecture solutions.
