May 18, 2005 - West Chester, PA - North American Cable Equipment, Inc. (NACE) announced today the introduction of two new rack mountable power strips from Cabletronix for communications, television, data, and security centers. The CT -PCHRM9 is a 19" EIA rack mountable 9 outlet power strip, while the CT -PCVRM24 is a vertical 24 outlet EIA rack mountable unit. Each unit provides cost -effective powering of commercial communications, data, and security equipment while allowing for the proper dressing and routing of power cables.

The CT -PCHRM9 is a 9 outlet horizontally 19" rack mountable unit with a single 15 amp circuit distributed over 8 outlets on the back and 1 outlet on the front. It is equipped with a 10' power cord, EMI filtering, and surge and spike protection. A backlit combination circuit breaker and power switch allows for all 9 outlets to be shut off or turned on simultaneously. A black powder coat finish blends well with most commercial electronics.

The CT -PCVRM24 is a vertically rack mountable power strip with a single 15 amp circuit distributed over all 24 outlets. Eleven outlets are spaced for power supplies to eliminate wasted outlets typical of many power strip products. The CT -PCVRM24 is housed in black plastic, equipped with a 10' power cord, circuit breaker and mounting brackets.

According to Aaron Starr, NACE founder and President, "The Cabletronix CT -PCHRM9 and CT -PCVRM24 offer contractors and system integrators the opportunity to build and power quality commercial network and distribution facilities with competitive power strip products at a fraction of the cost from traditional vendors. This provides an opportunity to bring value to their customers while earning even greater margins."

North American Cable Equipment, Inc. founded in 1992 with headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania and sales and distribution facilities in Pennsylvania, Florida, Missouri, and Nevada is a leading supplier of electronics, cable, and installation materials to the data, security, satellite TV, CATV, and communications industries.
