CEDIA Accepting Entries for the Electronic Lifestyles Awards

The Electronic Lifestyles Awards celebrate achievements in the custom electronics industry by honoring CEDIA members for excellence in design and installation work.

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) is currently accepting entries from members for Electronic Lifestyles Awards. The deadline for each award category is as follows: Designers' Choice Award -May 6, Manufacturers' Excellence -May 13, Installer of the Year -June 3, and Dealer of the Year -June 3.


The Electronic Lifestyles Awards celebrate achievements in the custom electronics industry by honoring CEDIA members for excellence in design and installation work. The awards are presented at CEDIA EXPO, the only trade show that meets the specialized needs of the residential custom electronics industry. At last year's event, CEDIA distributed awards to 30 members in a variety of categories.

As in previous years, winners of the 2005 Electronic Lifestyles Awards will be featured in Living the Electronic Life, a limited -edition publication produced by CEDIA that spotlights advancements and achievements in the custom design and installation industry. This edition will include expanded content and feature members who will showcase their work in CEDIA's exclusive custom calendar.

CEDIA is an international trade association of companies that specialize in designing and installing electronic systems for the home. The association was founded in September 1989 and has more than 3,000 member companies worldwide. CEDIA members are established and insured businesses with bona fide qualifications and experience in this specialized field. CEDIA members include Residential Electronics Systems Professionals who have emerged as the "fourth contractor" in the building and remodeling industries alongside electrical, plumbing and HVAC professionals.
