KOKOMO, IN - - Mier Products' new Wireless Drive -Alert Vehicle Detection Systems are an affordable and reliable way of protecting a home, farm, business, or equipment. It's also quick and easy to install, as it requires no additional wiring or laying of cable.
The Wireless Drive -Alert Systems detect vehicle movement in driveways, farm lanes, near workshops, or equipment, and even at drive -up windows. When a vehicle, or even a metal object, is detected, the Drive -Alert sensor transmits a signal to the control panel that sounds an electronic alert. These systems also can turn on lights, open gates, turn on video or voice equipment, or activate a number of other desired features.
An unlimited number of sensors can be used to protect multiple areas. Sensors can be placed in or next to stationary equipment such as tractors, gates, mobile homes, campers, gas tanks, and trailers. The Drive -Alert will sound an alarm if this equipment is moved, aiding in the prevention of theft or vandalism.
The system is so easy to install a child could do it. Simply mount the control panel next to a 110 -volt outlet, plug it in, and place any number of sensors in areas you want to monitor.
A sensor is enclosed in a durable and weatherproof enclosure. Just two AA batteries power a sensor, and the batteries last about one year under normal usage and are easy to replace. A low -battery light in the control panel indicates when it is time to change them.
A sensor is about the size of a brick, so it's easy to place and hide. You can put a sensor next to or on a lamppost, under a fake rock, or in a bush or tree. A sensor also is tamper proof; if someone tries to move it, an alert is triggered. Sensors can operate from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to plus 125 degrees.
Mier Products is a pioneer in the vehicle detection industry with more than 25 years of experience. It's Drive -Alert system is made at its Indiana headquarters and manufacturing site.
