WORLD'S FIRST SELF -TEACHING TRUMPET MAKES LEARNING FUN AND "EZ"

EZ-TP Offers Built-In Lessons, Accompaniment and Realistic Sounds, Light-Up Valves Show Correct Finger Placement

Buena Park, CA - Yamaha Corporation of America, Consumer Products Division, debuts the EZ -Trumpet, expanding the successful EZ line of portable keyboards and guitars that teach users how to play by following lit keys and chords that show where to place their fingers. All of Yamaha's EZ instruments allow users of any level to pick up an instrument and play it in minutes, giving beginners instant satisfaction and the confidence to keep learning.

The EZ -TP offers three selectable play modes that assist in learning how to play the instrument. Singing Play Mode allows the performer to sing along with the trumpet sound and play along with built -in accompaniment. The accompaniment even pauses until the user has played the correct valves. Normal Play Mode allows the user to play the EZ -TP as a conventional trumpet, with optional accompaniment.
The onboard selection of songs can be expanded via the Internet by downloading songs into the EZ -TP's Flash ROM and connecting to a computer through its MIDI IN/OUT or USB connections. It is also possible to connect to other instruments with MIDI IN/OUT capability, including Yamaha's portable keyboards and EZ guitars.
