OptiScale is a powerful scaler -switcher that accepts, switches, and scales a wide variety of input signals to a multitude of popular output resolutions. Input switching between channels is accomplished in about one second and is completely artifact -free. State -of -the -art de -interlacing is applied to all 480 -line SDTV interlaced input signals and 1080 -line HDTV interlaced input signals.
Input signals include RGB analog, RGB DVI, two channels of SDTV composite, one channel of SDTV S -video, one channel of SDTV component, and one channel of HDTV component. All output resolutions in the range of VGA (640 x 480) to SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) are supported. Popular 16:9 output formats such as WXGA (1366 x 768), WVGA (852 x 480) and 720p (1280 x 720), are also provided. Using the 65 -tap image filter technology of the embedded Silicon Optix sxW1 Image Processing IC, OptiScale attains the highest possible quality of image scaling for all scaling ratios.
