RTI Now Offering CEDIA CEUs to Custom Installers

Remote Control Innovator Now Able to Award CEDIA Continuing Education Units to Dealers Who Attend the Company's Product Training

CHANHASSEN, MN - January 27, 2005 - Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI), the leading producer of home entertainment system control technology, was recognized by CEDIA as a Continuing Education Units (CEU) Provider for its product training courses. Dealers are eligible to receive CEUs by attending RTI's training courses held at its Chanhassen, Minnesota headquarters and AVAD, LLC distribution centers nationwide, and by completing RTI's series of online training seminars. Dealers can find out where RTI will be hosting its next classes by contacting the company at 954.253.3100. Dealers can also login to the "Dealers Only" section of RTI's website, www.rticorp.com, and register for the online training seminars.

"RTI became a CEU Provider so that we could contribute to the professional training of our dealers and those installers who are interested in designing advanced entertainment system control platforms," said Pete Baker, director of sales & marketing at RTI. "When dealers personally attend an RTI training course, or undergo our online seminars, they get an edge in designing the most flexible, powerful, and reliable remote control systems. RTI technology was created to solve the most prevalent challenges that custom installers repeatedly face when designing today's advanced audio & video entertainment systems. Our dealers use RTI products to give their customers a reliable and intuitive means for controlling complex home theaters, distributed audio systems, programmable lighting, and more. It makes a lot of sense for them to gain CEDIA's recognition for the lifestyle solutions they provide every day."

Dealers who would like to attend upcoming RTI product training courses should contact the company for a schedule, or visit www.avad.com to find out which distribution centers are hosting classes.

The CEDIA Continuing Education Unit Program was created to ensure that CEDIA Certified Professionals continue to develop their industry and technical knowledge base. CEUs aim to provide a standard measure by which designers and installers, as well as their customers, can recognize the level of expertise for creating and servicing custom electronic systems. More information on the CEU Program can be obtained by visiting www.cedia.net.
