Innovative Program Will Enable Consumers to Manage and Enjoy Digital Media Throughout the Home
LAS VEGAS - -(BUSINESS WIRE) - -Jan. 5, 2005 - -Meedio LLC, a leading developer of digital home software, today announced their support for the recently announced DivX Connected Certification Program from DivXNetworks, Inc. Products and services in the DivX Connected Program enable consumers to easily access digital media from networked devices throughout the home. Applications formerly available only on PCs can now be enjoyed in the living room, including premium content services, personal information services and interactive gaming.
Meedio is among the first application providers to announce support for the DivX Connected Certification Program, a comprehensive technology initiative that will bring together integrated circuit (IC) manufacturers, consumer electronics (CE) original equipment manufacturers, independent software vendors and online service providers to create interoperable products and services.
Meedio provides consumers with a customizable interface to browse, manage, and access nearly any type of digital media or information using a remote control, touchscreen, or PDA.
