Meda Systems Introduces Upgraded DEOS Software For Multi -Zone, Multi -Source Brávo™ Music Servers

CES 2005, LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2005 - Meda™ Systems, Inc., an innovative technology company whose award -winning digital music servers and software distribute entertainment throughout the home, introduces DEOS™ Version 2.2, the latest advance in music server technology and software, at the International Consumer Electronics Show, beginning today in Las Vegas.
Meda's DEOS Digital Entertainment Operating System serves as the operating platform for Meda's Brávo™ and Bravádo music servers. DEOS Version 2.2 addresses many of the features and enhancements requested by Meda dealers, which, combined with Meda's proprietary MZSync™ technology, creates a fully integrated whole -house digital music system capable of playing and synchronizing multiple audio sources in multiple zones through analog, digital or IP -based entertainment systems.
DEOS Version 2.2's numerous new enhancements include stunning new graphic user interfaces for connected TVs, Pocket PCs and Windows desktops; automatic media library back -ups over the local network; Internet drive mirroring to Brávo servers in other homes; and the ability to recognize and play iTunes™ playlists.
Additional new features include faster library response times; hundreds of dedicated infrared codes for each supported zone; Bandwidth -Correct™ Internet radio station listings; personal zone security; and album cover art that can be customized by each user.
DEOS Version 2.2 is available now with new Brávo and Bravádo music servers. Existing Brávo and Bravádo owners can obtain free software upgrades. The software can be seen with Meda's other outstanding products in Booth 21813, Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall 1, during CES.
