Monitor Live Events Remotely, Record Activity to Hard Drive, or Set Up Email Alerts

Whether you're keeping an eye on your nanny or watching the perimeter of your house, surveillance is a snap with the Actiontec 54Mbps Wireless Network Camera, a color indoor/outdoor security camera that includes full -featured video and audio recording capabilities to capture both the sounds and sights of whatever you're monitoring for only $199.99.

Using a high -speed wireless Internet connection to enable users to tune in from anywhere in the world simply by going online, this compact camera can be mounted in any inside or outside location without cables, and it can used in three different ways. It can:

• Transmit live action for remote viewing from any Web browser, allowing consumers to monitor hired help, check in on children or pets, watch the new car in their driveway, or take a look at the office in real time from across the city or across the world. Up to four people can view footage from remote locations simultaneously.

• Record video and audio to the computer's hard drive according to any schedule entered into the software that comes in the package, making it possible for consumers to review the day's doings at their convenience. Recording can be scheduled once, daily or weekly; initiated on the spot; and optionally include JPEG snapshots in 24 -bit color.

• Automatically send a video image to up to three email recipients when motion is detected, alerting users to potentially serious incidents without using hard drive space to record long periods of inactivity. Users have the option to attach a video file, specify a duration of 2 to 5 seconds, and set delays of 2 to 30 minutes between emails.

The camera comes with built -in 802.11g wireless technology, an internal microphone, and a port for connecting an external microphone for enhanced audio capture. It delivers quality full -color video with MPEG -4 video compression, up to 640x480 image resolution, and a time stamp and text overlay. It can either sit on a desktop or be mounted to a wall, is weatherproof for outdoor use, and includes password protection to restrict both live and recorded viewing to authorized users as well as 64/128 -bit WEP encryption to thwart wireless eavesdroppers.

ELK Products -C1M1 Dual-Path Alarm Communicators with Remote Services

C1M1 offers a truly significant reduction in transmission time in comparison to other communicators that rely on dial capture or data bus decoding. This can result in quicker response time to emergency situations which could save lives and assets. By providing both IP and cellular pathways, C1M1 provides the reliability installers are looking for in an alarm communicator. C1M1 eliminates port forwarding and extra fees for remote access. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events. ELK-C1M14GSM supports GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile) networks and ELK-C1M1CDMA supports CDMA (Verizon) networks.
