Vidikron Puts Spotlight on Newest Cutting -Edge Video Displays at CES 2005

High-Definition Video Display Manufacturer to Show Flagship Vision™ Series 3-Chip Projectors at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas

UNION CITY, CALIFORNIA - January 3, 2005 - Vidikron, the leading producer of high definition home theater video displays, will be showcasing its state -of -the -art video display technologies at the upcoming International CES 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company will demonstrate both the Vision™ Model 80 and Vision Model 100 at the "Vidikron Lounge" theater - booth # 25710 in the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall 2. Vidikron will also display the new single -chip DLP™ Model 45, in addition to its complete line of PlasmaView™ flat panel monitors. Each featured product has been designed with both power and flexibility in mind. The Vision Model 100 is a three -chip high -light -output DLP™ projector that uses Vidikron's LightAmp™ engine, creating bright and detailed pictures even in high ambient light situations such as family rooms and living rooms, that often double as home theater environments.

The Model 100 produces tremendous light output measured at amazing 3500 ANSI lumens or CSMS™ Light Output of 78.5 ft -Lamberts. Using Vidikron's Cinema Standards Measurement System™ (CSMS), the Model 100 features high definition resolution of 1280 x 720, and has a contrast ratio of 2000:1. The multi -standard Model 100 offers a wide variety of performance features including lens shift capability for total installation flexibility.

The Vision Model 80 projector, coupled with the included outboard VDP -80 controller/processor, produces some of the most detailed, film -like video images yet available for home theater enthusiasts. The Model 80 combines a stunning 1920 x 1080 native resolution, light output of 1050 ANSI lumens (CSMS™ Light Output of 18.1 ft -Lamberts), and a 2100:1 contrast ratio for amazing pictures on screens as large as eight feet wide.

Vidikron will also showcase its latest single -chip DLP™ projector, the Vision Model 45, one of two new projectors in the company's expanding line -up. The Model 45 features Texas Instruments' state -of -the -art HD -2+ chip, at 1280 x 720 resolution, and the same attractive Italian styling as Models 100, 80, and 60. Also featuring Multiple Aspect Ratio control including IntelliWide™, extended -throw lens options, and an advanced9 -Point White Balance System for accurate grayscale tracking, the Model 45 offers the most impressive feature set of any projector in its class and price range.

In addition to projectors, Vidikron will exhibit the PlasmaView™ Series of flat panel displays. This family of products, ranging from 42" to 60" monitors, brings Vidikron's world class styling, performance, and design to flatscreen technology.
