OpenPeak Thinking Homes Software Supports Zensys Z -Wave Devices


BOCA RATON, FLORIDA AND LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - January 06, 2005 - OpenPeak Inc., a leading provider of software enabling control of digital content, consumer electronics and systems in the Digital Home, today announced the company's flagship Thinking Homes software supports the Zensys Z -Wave wireless control protocol used in devices from Sylvania, Leviton, Carrier and other major manufacturers.

Z -Wave is an RF -based, two -way mesh networking protocol for wireless control of home devices, such as lights, HVAC and security systems.

Thinking Homes software, which is designed to be integrated into products by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), offers simplicity of setup and control for consumers.
