Designed to Deliver Superior Sound at popular price points 2005 International CES, Booth #21240
The new standard for value and performance
The conductors used in the Spectrum Series are made from the proprietary TARA Labs SA -OF8N® copper, (Super -Annealed™ Oxygen Free 99.999999% pure copper), in the Optimized Diameter™ Solid -Core format.
"It is this solid -core technology that delivered the standard of superior sound for which TARA Labs is known," said Matthew Bond, TARA Labs founder.
The three new analog interconnect cables in the Spectrum Series differ from one another in design, but each are unique analog audio interconnect cables.
- Model 1a is comprised of a trio of helixed Optimized Diameter™ Solid -Core conductors. The design for this model evolved from the very successful Phase II Interconnect and the Prism 11 Interconnect which saw very favorable reviews in the UK, Japan and Asia;
- Model 2a is a balanced design that uses TARA Labs SVPE® Stable -Valence Polyethylene for the insulating materials and spacer rods within the cables construction;
- Model 3a features a breakthrough design using what appears at first to be a balanced quad -design, but in reality uses 2 Optimized Diameter™ Solid -Core conductors for the signal carrying runs, and then 2 smaller diameter conductors to enhance the shield and ground current connection. This particular design is exclusive to TARA Labs and optimizes the interconnect cables electrical characteristics for a neutral and more open high frequency response. In comparison tests the Model 3a delivered comparable performance to interconnect cables costing $300 -$400 retail.
