SHORT HILLS, N.J., December 8, 2004 - Nikada Inc., a US consumer electronics maker, announced that Target.com would become the first national retailer to carry the company's line of flat panel, high definition LCD and Plasma TVs and portable MP3 players. First product deliveries are scheduled for January 2005, although Target.com has already added Nikada product and pricing information to its website.

Wu said Target is carrying four models of HDTV -ready LCD TVs, with screen sizes starting at a 20" diagonal, as well as one enhanced -definition plasma TV and three models of portable MP3 players. The entry level TV is the LD1201, priced at $799.99. The LD1261, with a 26" diagonal screen, is priced at $2,199.99. The 30" model, LD1301, is priced at $2,799.99, and the 32" LD1321 is priced at $3499.99. The plasma TV, featuring an enhanced definition 42" diagonal screen, is priced at $2,999.99
The three MP3 players, which all feature voice recorders, have storage capacity ranging from 128 megabytes to 256 megabytes. Their retail prices range from $99.99 (model MPD311) to $149.99 (models MPD421 and MPD521).
