PETALUMA, CA - November 10, 2004 - Panamax, the industry -leading manufacturer of power conditioning and protection products, will exhibit at the Electronic House Fall Exposition (EHX) 2004, November 16 -18, 2004 in Long Beach, California. Panamax is planning an impressive show presence, with the introduction of the MAX® Home Cinema Uninterrupted Power Supply (M1500 -UPS). In addition to exhibiting all of its latest power protection products, Panamax will also hold two training seminars on "Making Power Work for You: Maximize Performance, Minimize Stress," from 1:00PM - 2:30PM on November 17 and 18 in Room 306 of the Long Beach Convention Center. These two courses aim to educate show attendees on the performance benefits of pure power and the importance of power conditioning in each job.
"We are excited about making an impact on every level at EH Expo 2004," said Don King, director of product marketing for Panamax. "The totally innovative M1500 -UPS is going to turn heads, with its entirely new approach to power conditioning. We also expect a good turnout for our two scheduled manufacturing training courses expressly designed to benefit custom installation specialists, we look forward to a great EH Expo show."
Panamax's M1500 -UPS features six AC outlets split into two isolated banks of 2 and 4 outlets. Installers can designate the 2 -outlet bank as a "critical load" bank and program a battery threshold so that, in an extended blackout, power for the 4 -outlet bank is turned off at the designated level and all remaining power is reserved for the critical equipment. Installers can also program the M1500 -UPS to dispatch IR shut -down commands for equipment that can be damaged by a sudden power loss. For instance, the UPS can trigger a stand -by mode in a DLP projector in which its fan will remain on until the lamp is cooled. End users can easily replace the unit's battery.
The M1500 -UPS provides automatic over and under -voltage protection and enhanced filtration of electromagnetic (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). This guarantees noise -sensitive theater components receive pure, filtered power for the best performance. The UPS also provides an RS232 control interface which allows it to be programmed for stand -alone use or integrated with home automation systems. Software for PC's is included. The communications protocol is open so that installers can also use other software for programming and control.
At its show booth, # 561, Panamax will also feature its highly -acclaimed MAX® PRO Component line of perfomance -enhancing power conditioning products as well as introduce visitors to its company's history and service -oriented goals.
The free manufacturer -training courses will be presented by Panamax's vice president of sales, John Maloney. Each of the attendees will receive a free MIW -POWER as well as a free MIW -5RCA unit with a combined valued of $109.90, absolutely free.
