ZON AUDIO'S DEVICE COMMANDER NOW SHIPPING

Oxmoor's newest innovation provides enhanced remote control

(Birmingham, AL) - Oxmoor Corporation, a world leader in the development of high performance audio products today announced that it is shipping the much -anticipated ZON ZIR -232 Device Commander. Responding to many integrator and end -user requests, Oxmoor developed the Device Commander to add a full -featured controller to the ZON whole -house digital audio system. Priced at $239 MSRP it is a cost effective alternative to many stand -alone control products.

Device Commander controls nearly all of today's popular brands of consumer electronic devices and offers powerful features and capabilities - all from one convenient module designed exclusively for the ZON ZR -98 Router.

Device Commander provides homeowners control of entertainment devices and home automation via IR, bi -directional RS -232, or a combination of both. The included windows -based configuration software features an extensive library of multi -media device codes along with the ability to learn additional IR codes. This intuitive software empowers non -technical users to easily make decisions about the arrangement and functionality of their components without programming experience. Device commander reduces lengthy macro and command sequences to a single icon, making complex functions extremely simple to use. Device Commander also seamlessly integrates with popular home automation systems to provide the ultimate control solution.

"The Device Commander really creates a flexible and powerful system for the user, " said Lynn McCroskey, president and CEO of Oxmoor. "ZON is a plug and play system that works right out of the box without programming. However, for dealers and end users that desire a custom setup to integrate ZON with home control and other entertainment products, the Device Commander is a great complement.

"I believe our dealers will find it to be a very attractive enhancement that will help in the sales process," McCroskey concluded.
