Value-Added Home Technology Distributor Establishes Third Southern California Branch in San Diego to Increase Service to its Increasing Dealer Base

San Diego, CA - September 3, 2004 - AVAD LLC, America's leading distributor of custom electronic systems for the home, announced the addition of a new AVAD Southern California location in San Diego, California. The distribution center was opened to address the needs of the area's increasing number of custom electronic system contractors. It is centrally located in the San Diego's Kearney Mesa area off of Highway 163, and will begin operating in mid -September, 2004.

The new branch covers 12, 000 square feet and includes a 2000 square feet will call/showroom area with a 20' x 16' dedicated theater room; a 600 square feet dedicated training room, and an 8000 square feet warehouse.

The management team at the facility will be led by Branch Supervisor Shawn Reinas, Customer Service Manager Juli Stewart, Account Manager Scott Stevens, and Warehouse Manager Chris Kusnell.
