Seven -Channel HTR 7115 and HTR 785 Surround Sound Receivers Feature Power, Convenience and Compatibility with Most Popular Audio Formats
CEDIA EXPO, Indianapolis, September 10, 2004 - Carver®, a division of Phoenix Gold International, Inc., previews the new high -current HTR 7115 and HTR 785 Home Theater Receivers at the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo 2004, beginning today in Indianapolis.
The HTR 7115 and HTR 785 Receivers provide a sophisticated package of leading -edge features well suited to contemporary Home Theaters and multi -channel, surround sound. Built around powerful and reliable amplifiers, the receivers support seven channels of sound, and extensive arrays of Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, DTS, DTS -ES and DTS Neo 6. The HTR 7115 and HTR 785 also supports two separate audio zones.
The dual -zone HTR 7115 boasts 125 watts per channel with two channels driven into 8 ohms, and 115 watts per channel with all channels into 8 ohms. The THD is less than 0.07 percent THD and the signal -to -noise ratio is 100 db.
Key features include a fully discrete amplifier with a dual -power supply, a video scaler and enhancer, a 6/8 -channel input for DVD -Audio, a two -way RS -232 control port, flexible dual -zone capability, and up -conversion from Composite to S -Video or Component Video. The receiver includes five video inputs, three high -definition component video inputs, a back -lit LCD learning remote, and a detachable IEC AC line cord.
The HTR 785 Receiver boasts 85 watts per channel with two channels driven into 8 ohms, and 70 watts per channel with all channels into 8 ohms. As with the HTR 7115, the THD is less than 0.07 percent THD and the signal -to -noise ratio is 100 db.
Key features include an amplifier with a dual -power supply, the ability to easily accept software upgrades, a 6/8 -channel input for DVD -Audio, and an RS -232 control port. The receiver includes four video inputs, two component video inputs, a back -lit 8 -source learning remote, and a detachable IEC AC line cord.
