Meda Systems Announces Integration Partnerships With 2 Leading -Edge Technology Companies

RipDigital and Universal Remote Control Facilitate Easier Integration of Meda's New Brávo™ Music Servers for Maximum Versatility and Value

CEDIA EXPO, Indianapolis, Sept. 10, 2004 - Meda™ Systems, Inc., an innovative technology company whose digital media servers and software distribute entertainment throughout the home, has announced new partnerships with RipDigital and Universal Remote Control, Inc. Each company's unique technologies facilitate easier installations and integration of Meda's line of innovative Brávo™ Music Servers into today's home entertainment environments.

The partnerships extend Meda's capabilities and versatility for its signature Brávo Music Servers, which are unique in providing multi -source, multi -zone, multi -user entertainment at affordable prices. Brávo Servers, powered by Meda's DEOS™ Digital Entertainment Operating System, feature proprietary MZSync™ technology. These elements combine to create a fully integrated whole -house digital music system capable of playing and synchronizing multiple audio sources in multiple zones through analog, digital or Internet -based entertainment systems.

"With our new partners RipDigital and Universal Remote Control, Meda continues to lead in providing value and next -generation features by making custom installations easier and more affordable for our dealers," said Steve Raschke, President of Meda Systems.

Meda's arrangement with RipDigital provides Meda customers with a fast, affordable method of ripping their CD collections to a digital format, saving both dealers and customers time and money. RipDigital's sophisticated CD ripping service offers low prices and fast turnaround times, as well as next -day shipping options, to create entire music libraries in MP3 or uncompressed WAV audio formats. In addition, Authorized Meda Dealers receive an exclusive price discount when using RipDigital as their CD ripping service.

"We're pleased to be working with Meda Systems to help custom installers save time creating digital music libraries for their clients," said Dick Adams, Founder of RipDigital. "Our quick -turnaround ripping service makes it simple to digitize music collections for premium music servers like the Brávo".

Universal Remote Control, Inc. is working with Meda to make it easier for custom installers to control the many zone -based features built into Brávo servers. Providing hundreds of unique infrared codes that tie into Brávo's sophisticated XML interface engine, URC has enabled the powerful, direct control of all key Bravo sources, zones and functions from handheld remotes or keypad -based systems. Meda is also introducing infrared templates to work with Universal Remote's popular custom line of multi -zone RF remotes, with additional templates planned before year -end.

"Universal Remote and Meda are making control of Bravo servers a snap for custom installers," said Eric Johnson, Vice President of Technology at URC. "Meda's powerful new servers can be effortlessly operated without pointing or any kind of IR repeater system via our new multi -zone RF remote controls".

Meda's entire line of Brávo Music Servers will be demonstrated in Booth 2056, Indiana Convention Center, during CEDIA.
