H -P PRODUCTS ADDS A NEW MEMBER TO THE DIRT DEVIL FAMILY OF CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEMS

The CV 1800 Offers Bigger Opportunities At A Smaller Cost

ndianapolis, IN - CEDIA EXPO 2004 - Sept. 8 -12 - Booth #524 - In these days of extreme health awareness, central vacuum systems are becoming increasingly popular to health -conscious individuals. But for many homeowners, the cost of purchasing and installing a system sometimes outweighs the numerous benefits. Now, consumers who are both health -conscious and money savvy can turn to H -P Products for a new high -performance, low -cost unit, the Dirt Devil® CV 1800®.

The CV 1800® offers consumers the quality design features of high -end central vacuum systems with an amazing low MSRP of $339. At only 2½ feet tall, 22 pounds and a foot wide, this unit is intended for homes up to 2,500 square feet and can easily fit into tight areas in the basement, garage or utility room. While maintaining the performance capabilities of a high -end model, the CV 1800® is one of the most affordable central vacuum systems on the market.

With an onboard inlet valve and the unique peripheral bypass, two -stage motor, the CV 1800® eliminates any visible exhaust without a muffler or exhaust horn. Air dissipation is maintained through peripheral exhaust vents located around the base of the motor. Increased venting on the motor cover amplifies air entering the unit to cool the motor, while a custom air separator keeps the exhaust air away from the cool air intake. Made of black ABS material, the comfort -grip dirt canister has an easy -to -handle, 4 -gallon collection capacity.

The Dirt Devil® system works by transporting 100% of all vacuumed dirt, debris and dust particles through a simple network of tubing that runs through the walls. 96 -98% of debris are deposited into the dirt canister while the remaining fine dust particles are captured in the high -efficiency filter so that dirt and odors are not re -circulated into the home. The in -wall tubing is easily installed during construction or added to an existing home in less than one day with no structural modifications needed.

The Dirt Devil® CV 1800® presents powerful cleaning performance and reliability with an innovative design. The bagless feature combines cyclonic action with a high -performance filter to maintain peak cleaning efficiency with consistent power and airflow.
