AudioSource Introduces Two Versatile Installer -Friendly Amplifiers

New 2 -Channel Amp 200 and Amp 300 Powered Source Switchers Ideal for Multiple Custom Home Audio and Home Theater Applications

CEDIA EXPO, Indianapolis, Sept. 10, 2004 - AudioSource®, a division of Phoenix Gold International, Inc., introduces two versatile new amplifiers - the Amp 200 and Amp 300 - designed to meet the needs of the Custom Installer at the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo 2004, beginning today in Indianapolis.

Both amplifiers are powered source switchers with two independent channels, and are designed for a variety of custom home audio distribution and home theater applications. They're ideal for use, for example, as remote amplifiers, as single or dual -zone amps, or as rear -channel amplifiers for Dolby 6.1 and 7.1 systems.

The Amp 200 is rated at 80 watts per channel at 8 ohms, 125 watts per channel at 4 ohms, and bridgeable to mono for 250 watts into 8 ohms. The Amp 300 is rated at 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms, 235 watts per channel at 4 ohms, and bridgeable to mono for 470 watts into 8 ohms.

Both amplifiers feature a full 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response, less than 0.02 percent THD into 8 ohms, A and B speaker switching, and independent volume and balance controls on the front panel, which are governed by a master level control on the rear panel.

The amps also include a second line level input with priority override and a 3 -15 second variable delay, a speaker level input/output for maximum flexibility, a 400 -watt unswitched 117 -volt outlet, and on/off switches for normal, auto -on signal sensing or 12 -volt trigger settings.

AudioSource's Amp 200 and Amp 300 will be available in the fourth quarter of 2004 at suggested prices of $499 and $599, respectively. They can be seen with other fine products from Phoenix Gold in Booth 1002, Indiana Convention Center, during CEDIA.
