Two New Products Include Performance And Convenience Features Beneficial To Installers And Custom Integrators.
CEDIA EXPO 2004 - Sept. 8 -12 - RCA Dome, Booth #1200 - Richard Gray's Power Company™ (RGPC) announces the addition of the 1200 Custom (1200C) and 400 Pro to their ever -expanding line of custom installation power management products. Both new models feature performance and convenience enhancements over the previous models, the 1200S and 400S.
The build quality and internal topography of the 1200S added considerable weight to the product, making a shelf necessary when installing the unit in a gear rack. With the introduction of the 1200C, rack mount ears have been added to allow for out -of -the -box rack mount installation without a shelf - the preferred way of installing any product in a custom rack. The 1200C is also a full 3 rack spaces high, whereas the 1200S was 2 -1/2 rack spaces high.
The performance of the 1200 has also been improved by rewiring all 12 outlets in parallel with the chokes, as opposed to wiring them in series with one another. Paralleling the outlets ensures that each outlet performs and "sounds" identical to the others.
The introduction of the 400 Pro specifically addresses the requests of many of RGPC's top dealers to have access to a 4 -outlet, audiophile -quality Power Delivery device with a 20 -amp IEC cord for use with today's high -powered amplifiers and digital devices. The 400 Pro's outlets have also been upgraded to be wired in parallel like the 1200C.
With the introduction of the 1200C and the 400 Pro as well as the recent introduction of the Power Link installation kit, RGPC shows their commitment to the home theater custom installation market and its ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of their dealers and installers.
MSRP of the RGPC 1200 Custom and 400 Pro is $2095 and $795, respectively. Both are shipping now.
