SCREEN RESEARCH ANNOUNCES LE WING

THE WORLD'S FIRST RETRACTABLE PROJECTION SCREEN & SPEAKER SYSTEM

August 31, 2004 - Mission Viejo, CA - Screen Research, makers of high -quality projection screens for residential and commercial use, has announced the availability of Le Wing(TM) - a revolutionary product that pairs their award -winning ClearPix acoustically transparent, motorized retractable screen with a left, center, and right speaker system. Designed for the high definition video projection market, Le Wing's screen and speaker system lower and rise together, providing a unique solution for those wanting big screen performance when they desire, but also no visible screen or speakers the rest of the time.

First introduced in prototype stage at the Mondial Image Photo Son of Paris in late March, the final production version will be showcased in the StJohn Group booth (#69) at the CEDIA 2004 Expo in Indianapolis, IN, September 10 - 12. StJohn Group is the exclusive North and Central American distributor for Screen Research.

The full range of products from Screen Research will be featured at the CEDIA exhibit, including their new fixed frame and motorized screens, plus an Ultimate 4 -way XMask(TM) professional -grade masking system.

FITTING IN
While dedicated screening rooms are becoming more and more popular, in today's homes, the multipurpose room - living room, family room, game room - is often used for home theater.

StJohn Group sales director, John Caldwell, added, "When the screen is deployed, it's 'all movies, sports and gaming on the big screen,' but when the room is being used for other types of entertaining, what do you do with the screen and speakers? Le Wing solves the problem of wanting to preserve the aesthetics of the room and allowing enjoyment of high -level performance with one system.

"When using the room for something other than video projection, the screen and front channel speakers are discretely hidden away in a designer -friendly wing -shaped housing.

"And home theater is not the only application for this cool technology. It is perfect for news rooms, control centers, post -production facilities, corporate boardrooms, education facilities, museums, theme parks, sport arenas, pools, simulators you name it!"

MODELS
Initially, Le Wing will be available in a 16:9 aspect ratio, in 80" wide and 96" wide (viewable area) models. False ceiling and floor cabinet models will follow in the very near future.

SPEAKER COMPONENTS
Screen Research has partnered with renowned speaker expert, Triangle Industries, to supply the custom -tuned speakers for Le Wing. Triangle is known worldwide for high performance loudspeakers and will be introducing a new line of models in conjunction with Le Wing's introduction, including timbre -matched surrounds and subwoofers under the Screen Research brand name.

Said Screen Research president, Yves Trélohan, "This partnership with Triangle allows us to equip Le Wing with a very high quality acoustical system - an ideal complement to our ClearPix screen technology. Triangle was the best choice, as a partner, because their products offer perfect compatibility with Home Cinema and music and exceptional dynamics and listening clarity. Triangle is constantly seeking innovation. The resulting unique acoustical aesthetic matches perfectly with Screen Research's positioning."

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Le Wing can be ordered now and will be shipping in November, 2004. Manufacturer's suggested retail pricing starts at $15,700.
