Boston Acoustics Introduces Bravo II, Versatile New On -Wall Multi -Purpose Speaker

Slim, Compact Bravo Successor Brings The Boston Sound™ Everywhere You Are and Everywhere You Want Your Audio

CEDIA EXPO, Indianapolis, Sept. 10, 2004 - Boston Acoustics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BOSA), a premier manufacturer of high -performance audio solutions for home entertainment, automobiles and personal desktop audio systems, introduces the extremely versatile Bravo II Loudspeaker at the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo 2004, in Indianapolis.

The Bravo II is a compact multi -purpose, high -performance loudspeaker whose unique design allows it to fit discreetly almost anywhere within a home, including corners, ceilings and other tight locations. A successor to the original, very popular Bravo, the Bravo II has been engineered to serve as a multi -purpose speaker ideal for any audio application requiring the speaker to blend into its surroundings.

The speaker's quarter -cylinder, wedge -shaped housing contains one four -inch woofer and a one -inch aluminum dome tweeter. An adaptable mounting bracket allows it be placed in a wide variety of locations for optimum sound quality and three -dimensional imaging. When a pair is placed vertically in the corners of a room, the Bravo II creates a surprisingly wide sonic window, providing true stereo sound reproduction over a broad area. A unique air channel leading to the exterior vent contributes to the speaker's thin profile while allowing it to breathe openly and provide sufficient bass response.

Bravo II listeners also enjoy The Boston Sound™, an acclaimed feature of all Boston Acoustics speaker systems that reproduces music and movie sound with exceptional accuracy. The Boston Sound delivers the music and sound effects that artists intend with a pure neutral tonal consistency that remains the same for all Boston Acoustics speakers, including Bravo II, no matter how many or how variously they may be mounted.

The Bravo II Loudspeaker is available now in black, white or silver from authorized Boston Acoustics dealers at a suggested price of $250 each. It can be seen with Boston Acoustics' other fine products in Booth 630, Indiana Convention Center, during CEDIA EXPO.
