Digiconcepts Home Technologies Sponsors 2004 PNE Prize Home

Prize home demonstrating state-of-the art, affordable, integrated technology for work and play to debut at The Fair 2004 at the PNE incorporates AMP Netconnect Home-Networks products for networking.

Delta, BC - July 5, 2004 - Digiconcepts Home Technologies (www.digiconcepts.ca) today announced its building sponsorship of the 2004 PNE Prize Home, debuting at The Fair 2004 at the PNE, Vancouver BC, August 21 - September 6, 2004. A full Preview Weekend will be held on July 16 - 18, 2004.

This year`s prize home will be built in a `west coast casual` style, and will incorporate a sense of warmth and comfort through the use of timber framing and exposed beams. The two -story home will provide more than 3,100 square feet of indoor living space, and will be moved to a lot in Gibsons, on B.C.`s Sunshine Coast, following the fair.

Digiconcepts will be featuring products in the 2004 PNE Prize Home that provide the homeowner with a truly connected intelligent home. The AMP NETCONNECT Home Net -Works structured wiring enclosure is designed to be the central "brain" of the home - sending signals to every room by distributing cable TV, satellite, audio, IR, fiber optics, telephone, automation, internet, security cameras, and much more. The homeowner can choose from several options that meet their current lifestyle and leave open the possibility for any future upgrades.

Depending on the homeowner's needs, the enclosure can be equipped with components that manage audio and video distribution to every room in the house, shared internet and home office equipment, telephone distribution for single line or complex KSU systems, and a whole house home automation configuration. Having a wired home not only makes it convenient, safe, and enjoyable for the whole family, but also increases its value.

`We`re very pleased to be a sponsor of this years PNE Prize Home` says Rudy Stebih, President and CEO of Digiconcepts Home Technologies. `Our plan is to showcase both the latest in Smart Home technology along with the TechHome Rating System for residential construction and its impact on residential construction`.
