EmergeCore Ships First -Ever CRM Within a Network Appliance

No-cost module offers small businesses a CRM functionality that would have formerly cost thousands of dollars

June 17, 2004 - BOISE, IDAHO -EmergeCore Networks, the leading provider of hardware and software solutions for Small to Medium Businesses (SMB), today announced availability of the company's new CRM Customer Relationship Management application. EmergeCore is the first company to integrate a CRM solution within a network appliance. Starting today, the CRM Module is available as a no -cost upgrade for current users of the IT -100 IT IN A BOXŇ.

From here forward, all IT -100 appliances will include the CRM Module at no additional charge. The CRM module will also be included in the IT -500 product that EmergeCore anticipates will begin shipping in late July.

The award -winning IT -100 all -in -one network solution for small to medium businesses, sells for US$1,395. In addition to providing wired or wireless connectivity and basic network infrastructure, the IT -100's new CRM application gives these users the ability to manage centralized customer information and to share customer data across the entire organization.

"In our surveys of small business customers, CRM functionality rose to the top of the list as the highest need they are currently unable to meet," said Dave Brown, EmergeCore president and CEO.

"Small businesses need the ability to manage sales opportunities, create and manage tasks, and generate sales activity reports," Brown continued. "However, this type of application has traditionally cost thousands of dollars and has been out of reach for the size of organization the IT -100 and coming IT -500 are designed to support."

The IT -100 is well suited for workgroups of 5 -25 users. With additional processing power, a 16 -port hub, and optional T1/E1 support, the IT -500 will support workgroups as large as 75.

Comelit - VIP Kit With Planux Monitor With WIFI/3G/4G Remote APP - 8512IM

The kit allows use of the video entry phone system via a door entry monitor as well as tablets and smartphones on the Wi-Fi network, or remotely on 3G (or higher) networks. The gateway in the pack allows connection of other devices (Comelit VIP door entry monitors or PCs) besides the door entry monitor supplied. In all cases, the gateway should be connected to an ASDL router or another device guaranteeing local Wi-Fi and mobile 3G connectivity. Depending on bandwidth limitations, the gateway can serve up to 15 appliances (including door entry monitors, smartphones, tablets and PCs) with 4 simultaneous door entry monitor streams. It also allows "intercom" communication between all of the 16 devices served. For mobile devices, whenever both modes are available and enabled, the app automatically switches. .
