D&H DISTRIBUTING'S DIGITAL CONVERGENCE EXPO TO FEATURE 21 SEMINARS AND 500 ATTENDEES

D&H`s Third Annual Digital Convergence Expo is Opened to the Channel, Extending a Valuable Educational Venue to all Resellers, Retailers, Installers and Dealers.

HARRISBURG, PA, June 15, 2004 - More than 55 top -flight digital convergence vendors are scheduled to attend D&H Distributing's "Digital Convergence Expo," a free trade show focusing on digital convergence technology and market opportunities. The July 21 event brings together CE retailers, IT resellers, A/V installers and home integrators with representatives from the most innovative digital technology manufacturers, highlighting their most advanced solutions and services. For the first time, this regional D&H trade show is not limited solely to D&H customers; the distributor has chosen to open the event to all channel resellers, retailers and dealers.

The Expo will be held at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center in Camp Hill, PA (Harrisburg area). Seminars will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until to
5 p.m., with exhibits from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Major manufacturers slated to exhibit include Intel, ViewSonic, Samsung, Panasonic, ATI, Philips and Motorola.

Now in its third year, the D&H Digital Convergence Expo has grown from 100 attendees and 25 vendors in its first incarnation, to its current roster of more than 55 manufacturers and an expected turnout of 500+ attendees. The 2004 agenda boasts 21 seminars, including Intel's "Digital Home" channel initiative presentation, plus topics such as home technology certification, the new "media PC," distributed audio, IP camera technology and online video gaming.

Attendees will be able to view D&H's popular "Connected Living" display, a fully -functional home network exhibit consisting of three rooms in a theoretical "connected" home. This year's exhibit features a full -scale home office, including a digital photo center; a "Media PC" connected to a state -of -the -art home theatre A/V system; and a child's bedroom with integrated online gaming and computing capabilities.

New for 2004, the event will incorporate sponsors hailing from some of the industry's leading organizations, including CEA (the Consumer Electronics Association), CompTIA (The Computer Technology Industry Association) and NASBA (The Association of Channel Resellers); plus a list of major industry trade publications. This illustrates a growing industry endorsement of the D&H Digital Convergence Expo as a resource for dealers and resellers looking into cross -market opportunities.

"As convergence technology has become more mainstream and more profitable, D&H has expanded the scope of the Digital Convergence Expo," said Dan Schwab, vice president of marketing at D&H Distributing. "It's gotten bigger, not just in attendance, but in the volume and variety of information we're offering. The Expo has become a venue not just for emerging digital technology, but also for established vendors like Linksys and BenQ to introduce products in a convergence sales environment."

"D&H has made steady progress in educating the market about convergence opportunities," said Gary Shapiro, CEA's president and CEO. "We're more than happy to get behind D&H's cross -pollination effort between the IT and CE industries, which brings different kinds of dealers, resellers and retailers together, prepping each to move forward in a new space. It complements our overall mission to help grow the consumer electronics industry."

As with all of D&H's free regional trade shows, attendees will view hands -on demos and meet with vendor representatives. D&H resellers can also take advantage of one -day -only show discounts. For registration and additional information, please visit www.dandh.com/dce.
