Value-added home technology distributor establishes Minnesota branch to increase service level to dealers in Minneapolis and St. Paul

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - May 7, 2004 - AVAD LLC, America's leading distributor of integrated home technology solutions, announced the addition of a new location in Edina, Minnesota in response to dealer needs near Minneapolis and St. Paul. The new location will extend the services of AVAD Central's current branches in order to provide more immediate service to a customer base that has consistently grown during the last year and a half. The new facility will open its doors for business on May 10.

Peter Warda will act as branch operations manager, drawing from his extensive background as an installer and systems programmer to ensure dealers are advantaged with maximum product availability and in -depth technical support.
As branch sales manager, John Hogan will be involved in organizing continuing education and product training programs, as well as the marketing efforts for the Edina branch. His experience in both residential and commercial custom installation will provide a wide range of dealers the specific support needed to increase their professional capabilities and offer customers a richer set of services.
