AIX Records Releases Bad Haggis & Grant Geissman in DVDA

Award-winning audiophile label AIX Records announced the arrival of two new feature packed DVD-Audio/Video titles at the HE 2004 Show. Bad Haggis, a Celtic/Latin fusion band, featuring guest artist Ruben Blades and The Grant Geissman Quintet.

AIX Records, exclusive producers of newly -recorded, high -resolution, multichannel DVD -Audio/Video discs, continues to augment their catalog with the recent addition of two new releases. According to company founder and chief engineer Dr. Mark Waldrep, `These two titles are the best we`ve ever produced...the audio, the mixes, the videos and the bonus features go well beyond conventional DVD -Audio releases and surpass even our own highly lauded titles.`

Bad Haggis features Eric Rigler and guest artist Ruben Blades. Rigler, a bagpipe player from Southern California, is best known for his work on Braveheart and Titanic. This collaboration blends the amplified sound of Celtic fiddle, pipes, guitar, bass and drums with Latin percussion and the vocals of Ruben Blades...truely a unique yet quite special sound.

Grant Geissman, former guitarist with Chuck Mangione and the genius behind the solo on `Feels So Good`, gathered up his bandmates from 25 years ago and revisited some of the charts that established them as the cutting edge of jazz. This disc is feature packed and contains interviews, a guitar lesson, rehearsal footage and an extensive biography of Grant...including his fixation with all things from EC Comics and Mad Magazine.

AIX Records is an audiophile label specializing in new high -resolution recordings released on DVD -Audio/Video discs.
