Two Giveaways Offer Tradeshow Guests Chances to Win Popular New Boardroom and Classroom Presentation Products
FAIRFAX, VA, May 12, 2004 - The International Communications Industries Association, Inc.® (ICIA®) has added two unprecedented prize giveaways to its comprehensive program of exhibits, technology pavilions, education courses, field trips and other activities at the InfoComm Conference and Exhibition to be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, June 5 -11, 2004.
Attendees at InfoComm, the premier business -to -business conference and exhibition for the audiovisual (AV) communications and systems integration industry, will be given the chance to win for themselves and the companies they represent a share of new pro -AV products valued at more than $100,000.
The prizes will be awarded through daily and end -of -show drawings to the winners of two contests -The Ultimate Boardroom and the Ultimate Classroom Giveaway ("UBCG"), both of which run from June 9 -11.
"We're very excited about these new events," said ICIA Executive Director Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D. "We think people will have a lot of fun going around to see new products and knowing they have a chance to win something terrific. At the same time, we're both rewarding and educating attendees by encouraging them to visit the Show's booths and special events."
The Ultimate Boardroom/Classroom Giveaway is a major prize -drawing conducted on the last afternoon of the show, June 11. One grand prize winner will receive a collection of boardroom products valued at approximately $50,000, another grand prize winner will receive a host of interactive classroom products also valued at about $50,000, and one lucky commercial attendee will win a Home Theater system valued at about $10,000 - all featuring components from major manufacturers.
The New Product Treasure Hunt is an at -your -own -pace daily action game. All registered attendees will receive an Ultimate Giveaway "Treasure Map" Entry Card, featuring booths of sponsors who are offering new product prizes in the Giveaway. Contestants need only have their entry cards stamped by all participating exhibitors to become eligible to win products. Winners will be selected daily at afternoon drawings on each of the three days the exhibit floor is open, June 9 -11. Drawings will be held on the hour from noon to 4 p.m. on June 9 and 10, and noon to 2 p.m. on June 11.
Prize drawings will be held at Booth 5241 in the rear of the Exhibit Hall, where full -scale working versions of Boardroom, Classroom and Home Theater systems will be displayed, accompanied by periodic educational demonstrations of the featured systems design and technology applications, presented by the UBCG systems designers, systems integrator and contributing manufacturers.
