HomeTouch Unveils IR Module and IR Remote

The new HomeTouch IR Module and IR Remote enable homeowners to turn preset lighting scenes on and off from anywhere in the room.

SALT LAKE CITY - LiteTouch, Inc., the world`s premier lighting control manufacturer, announces the addition of an IR Wall Module and Handheld IR Remote to the HomeTouch line of retrofit lighting control products. The new IR Modules and Remote enable easy access to area -wide preset scenes in an existing home.

The new IR Modules replace toggle switches and conventional dimmers and are available in 1 - and 2 -button configurations. The third button position has been replaced with an IR receiver. Modules can be
ordered in the elegant HomeTouch Designer or Traditional style with faceplate color options of white, ivory, almond or black. All of the standard Module capacities are available: 1000 Watt Dimmer, 600 Watt Dimmer and 700 Watt Relay.

The Handheld Remote has four pairs of buttons, each corresponding to ON and OFF of a preset lighting scene. Each preset scene can be manually adjusted and then reset to a new scene level without additional programming from a laptop. The MX -700 Remote Control (not pictured here) can also be used to activate a preset lighting scene.
