The Reflection Series VX -5000ci is Runco's flagship, single -chip projector based Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing' technology. The VX -5000ci boasts a native resolution of 1280 x 720 and a true 16:9 aspect ratio. The VX -5000ci custom optics also include both horizontal and vertical lens shift via a patent pending shifting mechanism developed and engineered by Runco. These Runco precision HD optics are "premium grade" lenses, which are normally found only in much more expensive 3 -chip DLP systems. The VX -5000ci also offers all of the extensive features needed to achieve outstanding image quality and operational ease, including a DVI input with HDCP copy protection decoding.
Designed around TI's Matterhorn chipset from the ground up, Runco's CL -510/CL -510LT utilizes a sophisticated new color balancing system that yields superior gray scale tracking. The Runco design leverages the impressive light output for outstanding contrast, maintaining deep blacks and subtle shadow detail alike, yet permitting serious viewing within a range of light environments. The CL -510 offers great versatility and extensive features to achieve outstanding image quality and operational ease. The integrated video processing/scaling incorporates 3:2 pulldown compensation. The CL -510 offers a variable throw distance of 1.75:1 to 2.0:1, while the CL -510LT provides a longer variable throw distance of 2.3:1 to 3.0:1. Both models include electronic keystone correction for installation flexibility and discrete I/R and RS -232 control.
The PlasmaWall™ PL -61cx has a native resolution of 1366x768 and is large enough to be used as the centerpiece of any home theater, and slim enough to be used in any type of room or environment. It's bright enough to be used in any lighting situation, and can be mounted on a wall, ceiling or tabletop. An astounding 1000:1 contrast ratio ensures extremely smooth transitions from the deepest blacks to the brightest whites. The high resolution of the PL -61cx makes it capable of delivering the most stunning pictures from HDTV sources of any plasma panel available. To ensure maximum performance with all other video sources, as with all Runco fixed pixel display products, the PL -61cx is packaged with a DHD Controller that scales NTSC and PAL video to match the native resolution of the display.
The Pl -61cx, CL -510 and VX -5000ci will include Runco's brand new, next generation, all digital DHD Video Controller for unprecedented video processing, scaling and aspect ratio control. (See separate release for more information on DHD -12.)
