Fusion Series of High-Resolution Video Display Processors Provide NEW Flexible Features & Options for Multi-Image Display Applications

Dublin, Ireland - New features and options for the FusionPro High -Resolution Video Display Processor from Zandar Technologies plc, a leading developer and global provider of multi -video display solutions, will make their European debut at ISE on stand #6734, February 3 -5.

Deirdre Smith, CEO of Zandar, said, "By continuing to aggressively pursue innovation, Zandar is able to provide customers with a wide range of choices for deploying multi -image display products that meet their precise requirements. Our latest products reflect that effort by extending the boundaries of what can be achieved at both the high end of display applications as well as in general purpose and entry level environments. Regardless of the application, Zandar products are designed to provide an easily integrated, flexible solution that delivers superior image quality."

Fusion Series of High -Resolution Video Display Processor Systems
The FusionPro along with the new features is being shown on a variety of display devices at ISE including an Eyevis SXGA rear projection cube and a Clarity Visual Systems 40" Direct View LCD Bobcat. New features on display include:
· In -Picture Audio Monitoring of analog, AES/EBU & SDI embedded audio
· Z -Manager multi -system control software with support for graphics and audio
· StudioPro Advanced Monitoring Module
Today's security monitoring centres and control rooms demand reliable multi -image display systems that can be configured and controlled with minimum limitations and operational effort and deliver pristine image quality for content monitoring and analysis. The Fusion Series offers just that, a union of input source types handled by one system optimised for large screen display in control monitoring centres. Video (analogue, digital and high -definition) and computer sources can be routed to a FusionPro system and displayed on a single screen. Inputs may be from virtually any source, including cameras, computers, satellite feeds, DVD and VCRS. Computer backgrounds can be displayed for viewing data such as maps, satellite imagery and security management networks. Screen layouts can be customised with editing software so that windows to be scaled and positioned anywhere on the screen and aspect ratios can be adjusted to suit the display type. The operator can label sources for easy identification. Network control software is also available for larger sites where multiple FusionPro systems are installed and need centralised control. FusionPro systems are optimised for and compatible with displays such as Plasma, LCD and projection systems as the output resolution is user -selectable up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. The output image quality of FusionPro delivers excellent results through 10 Bit RGB outputs, an advanced video processing engine and dynamic phase adjustment for accurate pixel mapping.

Also NEW is Zandar's new Advanced Monitoring Module, StudioPro. Combined with the FusionPro 3RU modular rack, StudioPro is an Advanced Monitoring Module that provides an integrated and intuitive interface to the operator for the set -up, operation and maintenance of the virtual monitor wall. StudioPro enables graphically enhanced displays, the inclusion of logo or bitmap files, and the display of clocks. StudioPro allows alarm conditions to be logged to file and provides a single interface for the control and configuration of multiple systems via LAN.

Deirdre Smith, CEO of Zandar, had this to say about StudioPro, "With the demands of modern television facilities going beyond the display and monitoring of video and audio signal, the traditional monitor wall has been replaced by a Virtual Monitor Wall, which is a controllable, re -configurable, intelligent visual information system." Smith continued by saying, "The operator has instant visibility of each source, whether composite, SDI, HD -SDI, RGBHV or audio level meters, immediate and visual alert of fault conditions, clear display of channel idents, tally status, clocks and VBI data. Nothing is left to chance and redundancy, robustness and serviceability are as important as image resolution and picture quality in critical installations."
