CSI ANNOUNCES RESTRUCTURING OF SALES DEPARTMENT

Communications Specialties announces that it has completed a corporate restructuring of its Sales department in order to provide direct contact and sales support to its dealer network, system integrators, contractors and customers.

Communications Specialties announces that it has completed a corporate restructuring of its Sales department in order to provide direct contact and sales support to its dealer network, system integrators, contractors and customers within the 50 United States and Washington D.C. Headed by Damian DiCarlo, CTS, Director of Sales, the plan includes an internal reorganization of sales responsibilities, including the development of geographically assigned sales teams to serve the eastern and western U.S. regions.


Paul Seiden, most recently principal of PJS Communications, has rejoined CSI and the team as Regional Sales Manager for the eastern United States. Based out of his office in Florida, Mr. Seiden, the former Director of Sales for CSI, will be working as a team with Lorraine Schaeffer in the NY office. His territory extends east of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers.

John Hulen, CTS, based in CSI's California office, will continue to handle domestic sales as Regional Sales Manager for the western United States. He will be working as a team with Maria Buro in the NY office. His territory includes the remaining states west of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers and Kentucky.

Both Regional Sales Managers will concentrate on providing system integration solutions and developing new market opportunities in the Professional A/V, Professional Video and Broadcast markets for the company's lines of fiber optic and video products. In addition, they will provide continuing support to the company's existing customer base.

"As CSI's line of Pure Digital Fiberlink® products continues to expand and fiber optic technology - as a whole - becomes more accepted by the Pro AV market, we feel strongly that a well educated direct sales team will be most effective at providing the type of support our customers will require."
