RUSSOUND'S CONTRACTOR SERIES

Affordable New Range of Custom Loudspeaker Solutions Delivers Real Value

CES, Las Vegas, NV January 8, 2004 - Russound, a leading manufacturer of a/v products for the residential systems and connectivity markets, showed their all new Contractor Series, a line of highly affordable custom loudspeaker solutions. Russound responded to feedback and market demand with brand new models that deliver quality, sound and value without sacrificing reliability or appearance.

Seven new models in all that cover a flexible mix of in -wall and in -ceiling applications, Contractor Series speakers also meet the needs of varying budgets, room sizes and tastes. The Contractor Series range in price from $70 MAP for a single dual voice coil speaker to $250 MAP for a pair of their 6 ½" in -wall model and are slated for shipment in March, 2004.

Though suitable for any installation, Russound's Contractor Series loudspeakers are ideal for use in new home construction, where production builders need reliability and quality yet also have to meet the demands of a highly competitive marketplace. Russound meets and exceeds those demands with affordable loudspeakers that are time tested with proven technology and extensive field experience. Drawing on the success of the well -known Russound model 523, the all new Contractor Series is coordinated in both aesthetics and functionality. Paintable to match virtually any décor, the shapes, materials, appearance and sound quality work together seamlessly in varied installation applications.

"From the outset, our mission was to maximize reliability, ease of installation and sound quality, consistent with price" stated Ian Popken Director of Loudspeaker Development at Russound. "While designing any custom loudspeaker brings challenges due to the intense nature of our competitive market, creating a range of high value speakers without compromising our design integrity called for new thinking." Mr. Popken went on to say, "All the Contractor models share the benefits of pivoting Neodymium tweeters for consistent sound and flexible mounting arrangements. Matching surround and cone material reinforce the goal of this family sound. And specially designed trim rings enhance fit and finish while improving sound dispersion characteristics. We believe this level of attention, quality and features is unsurpassed at anywhere near these price points."

The Contractor Series joins Russound's Advantage and new Atmosphere custom loudspeakers on display at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV, January 8 -11, 2004. Russound will be exhibiting their complete line of multi -room a/v products in Booth # 18437 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth

The new Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth replaces conventional keys with digital keys accessed through the Yale Digital Keys app for Android and iOS mobile devices, and through an app for the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. The Yale app allows homeowners to unlock doors, send keys to others, control when others have access, get a message when someone enters, and revoke a digital key at any time. Unlocking the deadbolt couldn't be simpler, whether using the Samsung Gear S2 or a smartphone. With the new Samsung Gear S2, touch the watch app to activate the digital key, then touch the lock screen to unlock the deadbolt. With a smartphone, Yale's "Twist and Go" technology allows the user to hold the phone vertically when approaching the door, then twist it 90 degrees to unlock the deadbolt. Homeowners can also unlock the deadbolt using its capacitive touchscreen and a four- to eight-digit code.
