LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL 2004: LARGEST IN 15 YEAR HISTORY

Now in its 15th year, LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL 2004, will be the largest to date in the event's history, featuring a host of new products, programs, exhibitors and events, including new opportunities for the media.

Atlanta, GA) - Now in its 15th year, LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL 2004, the world's largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, will be the largest to date in the event's history, featuring a host of new products, programs, exhibitors and events, including new opportunities for the media. To date, more than 600 leading -edge domestic and international companies are expected to exhibit, and attendance for the event - to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center between March 29th and April 2nd - is expected to include over 17,500 architectural, engineering, design and end -user professionals from around the world.


New exhibitors. As one of the world's most important resources for commercial and architectural lighting, LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL has attracted a growing number of manufacturers who are new to the event. Currently, there are over 60 first -time exhibiting manufacturers participating, including: American Electrolier; Cosmoluce Australia; Diversified Architectural Lighting Inc.; Duo -Gard Industries Inc.; Io Lighting LLC; Lucebella Inc./3g Lighting Design Group; Ne -Light; Nxt Light; Osram Opto Semiconductors Inc.; Pilux & Danpex A.G.; Roy Alpha S.A..; Siemens Energy and Automation; Sofcel; Viabizzuno Usa; Tarengo Design Sa De Cv; Union Street Glass Inc.; and Swarovski Lighting Parts. The Daylighting Pavilion and the Decorative Pavilion will showcase many of these new exciting products.



New products. Lighting professionals will kick -off the 2004 event with an exciting preview of what awaits on the exhibit floor. At the New Product Showcase & Awards Presentation, which takes place on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM (Las Vegas Convention Center), a judging panel of renowned lighting professionals will present awards for Best New Product of the Year, Technical Innovation, Energy Efficiency, Design Excellence, and 22 Best of Category Awards. At the judges' discretion, two special awards, The Judges Citation Award and The Roeder Award will be awarded to manufacturers whose product entries truly meet and exceed the current challenges of the twenty -first century.
