Destiny Networks Announces Winner of 5 Minute Programming Contest

Destiny Networks announces that Nick Tamburri of Aggressive Home Automation won a Panasonic DVD burner by programming an entire entertainment system in less than 5 minutes at the company`s booth during EHX.

Morgan Hill, CA - November 19, 2003 - - - Destiny Networks, Inc., a residential control and handsfree automation company based in Morgan Hill, CA, today announced the winner of the company's 5 minute programming contest at EHX.

Nick Tamburri of Aggressive Home Automation won a Panasonic DVD burner by programming an entire entertainment system in less than 5 minutes. This included configuring IR control of a DVD player, an AV surround receiver, and a TV. During the same 5 minutes, Nick was also able to create a graphical user interface to run on a touchscreen as well as program a handheld remote to control the entire system.

When asked for a comment, Nick said, "When they asked me to program this system in less than 5 minutes I was more than skeptical. It really was so simple that anybody who understands how to design a theater could quickly program this system."

Every visitor to the Destiny Networks' booth at EHX was given the opportunity to program an entire entertainment system in 5 minutes. In a clear demonstration of how easy the Destiny Networks' Ubiquity configurable software is to use, everyone who attempted to program was successful in the 5 minute time frame. Nick's name was randomly drawn from all the contest participants by Helen Heneveld of HDCI.

Helen Heneveld, a well known industry speaker and guru, stated, "Programming an entire theater in under 5 minutes is amazing. The fact that everyone who tried it succeeded means that integrators don't need to hire programmers."
