The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association Names Trade Show Director

The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) announced today that it has named veteran trade show executive Patty Voss to the position of trade show director.

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) announced today that it has named veteran trade show executive Patty Voss to the position of trade show director.


Voss has more than 14 years of experience in the event planning industry and will direct CEDIA's participation in industry -related trade shows as well as CEDIA EXPO, the largest trade show for the custom electronic design and installation industry.

A graduate of Colgate University, Voss has been instrumental throughout her career in the execution of small and large events including national and international corporate meetings, road shows, conventions and trade shows.

Voss served as international project director and international sales manager for PennWell Corp., a business -to -business media company, focusing on the development of global trade events for the petroleum industry. She also provided seven years of extensive event planning services to computer industry clients while in high -level management positions with two Colorado -based event -planning companies. During her tenure in the event planning industry, Voss has held various management positions where she gained invaluable experience organizing large and small events for clients representing a number of different industries.

CEDIA is a global trade association of companies that specialize in designing and installing electronic systems for the home.
