HOUSTON, TX, July 1, 2003 - DirectConnect® announces today the introduction of MOC5, their new component line of data, audio and video baluns, receivers and transceivers which transmit media over CAT5E wiring. This hot new product line encompasses a total of 15 new hubs and accessories that bring innovation, ease of use and installation flexibility to the custom installation field by running various forms of media over existing CAT5E wiring.

Highlights of the MOC5 line include the DCTPAVT, which converts one (1) BNC video input and two (2) RCA audio inputs to one (1) RJ45 output. This configuration allows installers to run full motion audio and video to distances up to 400M, or monochrome up to 600M. Also available are clever small video transceivers that enable you to convert coax to CAT5E via BNC to RJ45 or BNC to Termination Block. Various RJ45 distribution hubs and rack mountable options and accessories complete the line. All products feature a slim -line design that make the MOC5's ideal in any type of installation., and with an average of 75 points to the dealer the choice is easy.
