New Initiative to Connect Custom Installation Dealers with Homebuilders Nationwide
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - September 5, 2003 - AVAD, LLC will introduce the new Dealer to Builder program, or "D2B," at CEDIA Expo 2003 in Indianapolis, Indiana. AVAD will gather Expo visitors for an introduction to AVAD, its mission, history, exclusive benefits and the concept behind this new program. The Dealer to Builder program is the latest effort by AVAD to connect homebuilders and electronic systems installers around the country in order to meet the growing demand for home technology in the builder channel.
AVAD has planned an interactive presentation at its CEDIA booth, called "Take The Next Step," to begin searching for qualified and interested participants in the initiative. Speakers will lead the audience through a questionnaire integrated into the presentation, eliciting answers that will be recorded via an Audience Response System that utilizes wireless keypads. Each seated attendee's responses will help form a database of parties interested in the new Builder Initiative and in any of AVAD's unique services. Based on these responses, AVAD can work with interested dealers for program certification and to get them connected with top builders in their markets.
"CEDIA EXPO is the best venue to introduce our Dealer to Builders program," said Joe Piccirilli, managing director of AVAD. "Analyzing the custom installation and builder channels has revealed a ripe demand for a plan like our D2B program."
Dealer to Builder revolves around an experienced corps of CEDIA -certified installers specially trained to integrate state -of -the -art and easy -to -use electronic systems into new and existing homes. The Initiative aims to recruit, train and certify new installers who meet specified criteria to grow and reinforce the existing group. AVAD then joins builders throughout the country with the best -qualified installers in their regions to create reliable solutions for homeowners' evolving technology -based lifestyles.
The "Take The Next Step" exhibit is set to run at AVAD's CEDIA booth # 413 throughout each day of the Expo. As an added bonus to learning about the Dealers to Builder program, attendees will enter a prize drawing to be held at the end of each show day.
