Aegis Announces the Next Generation of AV Management

September 15, 2003 Sharon, MA - Aegis Systems, one of North America's leading suppliers of integrated home electronics solutions, announced that it will shortly begin shipping the next generation of the Aegis Audio/Video Management System (AVMS). The AVMS 2.0 is a touch screen based whole house A/V distribution system that can also control lighting, HVAC and security. Version 2.0 includes dozens of changes to enhance the capabilities, usability and reliability of the system. One of the highlights of the version 2.0 is the new slim line touch screen. Designed to be one of the least expensive and easiest to install in the industry, the new high contrast display touch screen provides homeowners one of the sleekest human interfaces available.

According to John Quick, Aegis Systems' National Sales Manager, "AVMS 2.0 incorporates almost everything we learned from the original AVMS. It also adds lots of new features and refinements like the ability to activate home automation features via handheld remote control." Infrared controllable source selection, volume and mute as well as infrared activation of home control macros is now simple. Additionally, there is now a new intercom feature with baby monitoring capability.

Aegis Systems is a division of The Lenbrook Group of Companies that include NAD Electronics and PSB Speakers. Visit our web site www.Aegishome.com
