NEW SONANCE® IMPEDANCE MATCHING SYSTEM CONNECTS UP TO 12 PAIRS OF SPEAKERS IN SINGLE AUDIO SYSTEM Simplifies Design and Installation of Multi-Room, Multi-Zone Systems

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., - Sonance®, the leader in architectural audio, has introduced the Sonance AF12 Impedance Matching System, a single in -wall or on -wall mounted hub that allows custom installers an easy, efficient, and safe way to connect up to 12 pairs of 8 Ohm loudspeakers for multi -room audio. Specifically designed for large audio distributed systems, the AF12 features quality materials and construction, including separate steel chassis, sub -chassis and cover plate assemblies, along with "Screwless Quick Connectors" for fast, secure speaker hook -ups. Installation options allows on -wall or in -wall mounting; including areas with tight width restrictions as found in many structured wiring configurations.


Easily adjustable output taps can be manually set to the proper speaker system impedance load (from 2/3 Ohm to 4 Ohm). The AF12 supports amplifier power levels from 50W to 200W RMS/channel, and its built -in circuitry protects an amplifier or receiver from extremely low impendence loads. The AF12 has separate left and right ground patch for compatibility with all amps, even in bridge mode. Heavy duty printed circuit boards with robust circuit paths provide a reliable and safe operation, while the speaker terminals accept wire up to 14 gauge.
