VideoEase LongReach First Fully Auto -Image Adjusting Active CCTV Balun

Plug-and-forget CCTV Solution for Extended Distance via Copper Twisted Pair

MONTREAL, CANADA - MuxLab Inc., recognized leader for its balun and connectivity solutions, is pleased to announce the VideoEase "LongReach" CCTV Active Receiver Balun (p/n 500015), a true "plug -and -forget" distance extender for the CCTV security and surveillance environment.

Designed for the CCTV installer, the LongReach supports up to 5,000 feet (1.5 km) via Category 5 twisted pair cable when used with MuxLab's passive CCTV balun at the camera end thereby eliminating the need for an active transmitter balun at these distances.

Furthermore the product features full automatic image adjustment, thus eliminating costly and time -consuming field maintenance calls. The product's Automatic Gain Control (AGC) automatically adjusts picture color, sharpness and luminosity regardless of cable length, environment or temperature and eliminates the need to go on -site to adjust potentiometers or DIP switches. The balun takes a few seconds to lock in, providing clean crisp color images up to 5,000 feet away. An additional 1000 feet coax or twisted pair can be added after the balun if required.

The LongReach is used where extended distance is needed such as school campuses, airports, manufacturing facilities, parking lots, car dealerships and casinos. The LongReach is also applicable in marginal cabling situations even at short distances. In installations where cameras are hard -to -reach, the LongReach eliminates the need to make adjustments at the camera itself, thus saving time and money.

The product supports NTSC and PAL and features diagnostic LEDs to indicate the presence of power, video and ground loop problem. The product also features ground -loop blocking circuitry (GLB) to isolate ground potential differences and eliminate "hum".

The LongReach is designed to connect directly to a DVR, CCTV multiplexer or switcher, eliminating the need for separate coax patch cables and speeding -up installation time. The device is powered from a standard 24VAC power source, not provided with the product. Once the LongReach is installed, no other adjustments to the product are necessary.

Designed by MuxLab, the LongReach comes with Installation Guide and is backed by a 1 -year manufacturer's warranty. Available immediately, the suggested list price is $250.00 (U.S.) and may be ordered through authorized MuxLab stocking distributors.
