IPRO and ERA Partner To Offer Enhanced Member Benefits

The new affiliation, which will boost each organization's reach into emerging consumer electronics markets, is a clear step in providing increased benefits to both associations' members.

HOLLYWOOD, FL, September 2, 2003 - The Independent Professional Representatives Organization (IPRO) announced its partnership with the Consumer Products Division of ERA. The new affiliation, which will boost each organization's reach into emerging consumer electronics markets, is a clear step in providing increased benefits to both associations' members. The partnership will be introduced at CEDIA EXPO 2003 in Indianapolis, Indiana during IPRO's annual Networking Reception being held at the Indiana Convention Center Room 107 on Saturday, September 6th from 4:30 to 6:00. IPRO also celebrates its 15th year anniversary.

Andrew Ard, president of IPRO stated: "IPRO, as an organization, is experiencing a great upswing of interest from the high level of energy and efforts being made by the board and member organizations. Our new relationship with ERA, added to the recent expansion of our administration team, is going to make our upcoming 15th anniversary reception at CEDIA a very exciting time of celebration and a look towards the future of IPRO."

"This is a step that ERA has looked forward to for some time," said Ray Hall, executive director of ERA. "The new partnership will elevate and energize its efforts on behalf of the professional field sales organizations of the consumer products industries."

IPRO's new affiliation with the Consumer Products Representatives group of ERA, is a result of ongoing discussions since Ray Hall was invited to be the keynote speaker at IPRO's Annual Conference held in Denver, Colorado back in June. The two organizations have realized the usefulness of the existing industry contacts ERA has in conjunction with IPRO's rep network, in order to implement representation in key areas of the consumer electronics market. Moreover, new areas of developing consumer technology markets have expressed to ERA their strong interest in utilizing outsourced professional field sales organizations in taking their businesses to the next level. IPRO representative member firms match that profile; thus, making this a mutually beneficial partnership in an effort to better serve the industry as a whole.
