Each year, the Golden Hammer Awards are presented to a select group of suppliers to recognize their commitment to partnering with the home center and building materials industry and effectively supporting their needs.

Little Neck, NY, August 20, 2003 - - Leviton Manufacturing Company was named a 2003 Golden Hammer Award recipient at this year's International Hardware Show in Chicago earlier this month. Each year, the Golden Hammer Awards are presented to a select group of suppliers to recognize their commitment to partnering with the home center and building materials industry and effectively supporting their needs. The awards are sponsored by National Home Channel News, a leading trade magazine for the home improvement and retail building material industry.


Leviton was presented the Gold -level award in the Electrical Suppliers category. The award was based on a consensus of over 2,500 buyers and merchandise managers from America's top 500 home center/building material dealers and retailers. They were asked to select a single supplier in 38 separate product categories that excelled in the areas of category management, inventory management, new product innovation, quality control and customer service. Leviton was honored with the Gold -level award, the top level award presented.
