SmartLinc Offers First Factory Training to Dealers November 13-14

Earn Factory Certification by attending SmartLinc's first-ever Factory Training, November 13-14! The training will be held in SmartLinc's new 2,500 square foot training facility, and is open to dealers wanting to become certified to sell and install SmartLinc products.

During the day-and-a-half training, dealers will have interactive, hands-on experience learning to install and program SmartLinc products. These are easy-to-use powerline carrier (X-10) and hardwire (RS-232) products that allow consumers to automate control of home theater, lighting, HVAC, security systems, and other home systems. Highlighted in the curriculum are the intuitive TouchLinc touchscreen controller, the intelligent HouseLinc whole-house controller, and SwitchLinc 2-Way, the world's first remote control dimmer switch.

On Friday night, attendees will be shuttled to a dinner/cocktail party to be held at a home that has been automated with SmartLinc's products, where they will experience "real-life" use of the products in a relaxed environment.

The Factory Training will held at SmartLinc's Irvine headquarters/training facility in sunny Southern California, and will be taught by SmartLinc's dynamic National Sales Manager, Scott Klodowski. Dealers completing the program will become Factory Certified, which is the highest level of SmartLinc certification available. They will receive a printed certificate at the end of the training.

Cost for the day-and-a-half training plus meals is $195, and paid pre-registration is required. A portion of the cost for the training can be applied toward a qualified product order.

Preferred accommodations are at the Holiday Inn Bristol Plaza Hotel, where dealers will receive the special SmartLinc rate and free shuttle service to and from the airport and the training facility. The Holiday Inn is located in Costa Mesa, near Orange County's popular South Coast Plaza shopping mall, restaurants, and the airport.
