SmartHome is a complete customer specific whole-house system that was developed and extensively field-tested by Smart Home Systems. The system is now available to all professional installers and is based on a JDS Stargate Home Controller; Panasonic Phone System; ChannelVision Video & Data Distribution System; Applied Future's HomeVoice; Niles Audio; and Napco Gemini Security System. The systems are mounted and integrated on a 4' X 6' Home Control Center panel designed to be mounted at the termination point of the SmartCable pre-wiring on new residence construction. Space is provided on the panel to mount the X10 Power Line Carrier whole-house Surge Protector, Coupler/ Repeater, and Signal Blocks as required.
