OnQ Technologies Introduces Industry’s First
High-Performance Home Office Module

Harrisburg, PA (May 1, 1999)—OnQ Technologies, Inc., the world leader in home wiring systems, has introduced a new integrated Home Office Module that provides comprehensive support for the voice and data requirements of today's home office. The module supports up to four incoming telephone lines; wideband telecom services such as ISDN, DSL, or ATM; and high-speed cable modem services.

"Telecommuters, students, and home-based entrepreneurs need sophisticated, full-featured support for voice and high-speed data," said Doug Fikse, president of OnQ Technologies. "By supporting voice telephony, faxes, computer and cable modems and high-speed services, the Home Office Module is the first of its kind to allow the homeowner to achieve a complete high-performance solution easily and cost effectively," added Fikse.

The Home Office Module distributes up to four incoming telephone lines by connecting directly to the bridge/test expansion jack on the OnQ Telecom Module. It supports high-speed digital services, distributing it to the unique OnQ Home Office Hideout outlet over a single Category 5 cable. The module also supports cable modem services by splitting the video and data signals and delivering the data over RG6 coaxial cable to the OnQ home office outlet.

OnQ Technologies, Inc., a privately held corporation formed by the management and employees of the former AMP Building Systems Division, is the world’s leading supplier of home structured wiring systems.

The OnQ Home Wiring System and Home Management System are sold and installed through the nationwide network of OnQ dealers and distributors. For more information, call (800) 321-2343 or visit the OnQ Technologies website at http://www.onqtech.com.
