HAI Announces Windows Version of PC Access

New Orleans, LA - Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), a national manufacturer of residential networking systems and solutions, announces the release of PC Access for Windows. Designed to operate in a Windows 95 environment the new version of HAI PC Access is easier to navigate, simpler to operate and provides a more sophisticated interface for HAI dealers.

As a 32 bit application with layered windows PC Access for Windows offers HAI customers a more robust platform and greater flexibility in a non DOS environment. To allow for a smooth transition for existing dealer customers HAI has configured PC Access for Windows in a similar manner to the current PC Access. Once the file (or location ) is identified the set up menu directs the installer through codes, programs, dialing configurations, arming parameters, naming of zones, lights and macros plus miscellaneous functions such as latitude/longitude points. Installer functions, which include control of outputs/alarms, individual zone identification, communicator data, area definition, temperature configuration and expansion capabilities are specific to the Installer version of PC Access for Windows. As in the DOS version PC Access for Windows will be available in two versions - HAI Installer and HAI End User.

"PC Access for Windows has been the most requested addition to the HAI line of OmniPro and Omni controllers", says Scott Dudoussat/Manager HAI Technical Support Services, "We anticipate dealer and end user customers alike taking advantage of this new release from HAI."
