These attractive contemporary lamps enclose a speaker system for improved functionality of both the furniture and speaker system. The unique speaker and lamp combination allows for placement of the system unobtrusively and attractively within a room. The speakers are arranged vertically within the hollow furniture, emitting sound vertically upwards and downwards. Sound directing parabolic surfaces are placed adjacent the speakers and redirect the sound horizontally over a 360 degree range.

The two-way bass reflex enclosures incorporate audio components from Tymphany; using high quality 6.5” woofers with “sandwich” cones and heavy magnets with a short circuiting ring in the magnet that provides excellent linearity with low distortion, and 1” soft-dome tweeters. The unique enclosure design allows for improved porting capabilities; cabinet frequency 48.5Hz, resulting in better low end performance and higher power handling than bookshelf speakers of similar size. The hand crafted cabinets made from ½” solid surface material come in six different colors that simulate the look and feel of granite. The lamp features a three way light switch (bulb not included), with an 8 foot UL power cord. Finally, they are topped off with a choice of three designer lampshades; the standard model in white, or chose from two optional colors made from Dupioni Silk, in gray or ivory.
